I don’t know about you all but I don’t have a set schedule when it comes to cleaning the house. I think it 
may be time to have one. Do you all have one? If so what is it? I need some direction. Today I’m getting down to business and getting this place cleaned up. Turning up the music and/or podcasts and getting to work! Wish me luck in this adventure of mine, because this house needs some lovin’ BADLY!

I don’t really have a set schedule for house cleaning either. I keep thinking I need to get one together though. I do, however, get the laundry all caught up on the weekends. And I scrub the toilets and bathtubs roughly every two weeks, which usually happens to fall on the weekend also. But as far as vacuuming, dusting, straightening and just organizing clutter goes… that usually happens only when I have time for it, which doesn’t seem to be often enough these days… I think a firm schedule would help a lot!
Off and on I go back to using my schedules…and really, that’s the only time when I actually DON’T pull my hair out about keeping up with the house. These days with work, and kid activities I have to wait until the weekend to do the real cleaning. During the week I try my hardest to clean as I go, and stop to pick something up when I’m on my way out the door, or in the door. I basically don’t stop. Ha, ha! Who doesn’t? Every night after dinner I make sure all the kitchen surfaces get cleaned and I throw some comet in the sink and scrub a little bit. Only takes a few minutes, but makes me feel so much better knowing at least my kitchen isn’t funky…cluttery, yes, funktified NO.
I pick one weekend day where I hit it hard. Bathrooms, floors and dusting, but other than that I’m flying by the seat of my pants…and the pants are pretty scuffed.
well i dont have a set schedule either…for i work and all.. but i try to do a little of something every night before bedtime and usually catch up on weekends..sometimes when i want a little luxury, i’ll hire a housekeeper..my sister..she’s awesome..and so she’ll do my thorough cleaning like 2ce a month!!
