Musing Mommies Podcast Episode 6 {Going Green}

Episode 6, April 28, 2009

What’s your favorite color? Today the Musing Mommies Kim and Dawn GO GREEN!!

And no, it’s not St. Patty’s day! It’s the hottest trend in the country, the “thing” to do, the latest fad and absolutely good for you and Mother Earth. And we all gotta respect our mothers, right?

Seriously though, going Green is easy to do. Kim and Dawn have found so many ways you can save energy, waste less, and live better by doing small things to make your house, your life and the environment healthier. And the best part? All you have to do to start is pull up a chair, make a few clicks on the computer and listen your way to a healthier, greener you!

Until next time,
Kim and Dawn

    I just found this surfing the net…and since it relates to this episode, I thought I’d share.

    It’s the Salad Sac. Sounds similar to the green bags you guys discussed in this epi BUT it’s NOT plastic – does that make it double green. I haven’t used it, but perhaps another listener has.

    Dawn ~thank you for admitting, I mean sharing, that you use the Diva Cup. Have you ever heard of Insteads? These sit near the cervix so have the added benefit of allowing 365 “intimacy.” Now some women (OK I do) may appreciate the “break” we get from the wifely duty (I mean pleasure) during this week, so this may not actually be a plus…but I thought I’d share and see if anyone has tried both/either and could compare.

    I MAY give this a shot!
